    Default Holmes County State Park....


    Anyone ever tried there? My wife and I rode over there recently and fished off the pier a couple ours, with 0 bites. It is a nice lake, and was wondering about the fishing there.

    I have students that fish there. They catch crappie trolling along channel and deep along levee. Sometimes a lot. Lake is full of nice sized bream and good bass. I have never fished it, so .........

    Saw (with my own eyes) a nice mess of 10-12 inch crappie come out of legion lake in Winona this weekend.....

    We checked it out a few years back. Thinking it would be a good place to spend the night if on a long road trip.

    My Dad and I used to catch crappie at Legion Lake years ago. How is the access to that lake now?

    I have considered running up there a couple of times, but haven't done it yet. Seems like it might be a good lake to try...
