    Default I pilot problem

So all of a sudden my I pilot remote some functions aren't working. It will steer the motor but it will not turn the prop on. When I push the prop button on the remote the head on The trolling motor will do it's little beeping thing and nothing else happens. Any recommendations?

sounds like you have to learn your remote !!!
    1. Power up the trolling motor.
    2. Push and hold the learn button down. A steady audio tone will be heard
    while holding this button.
    3. While holding the learn button down push any button on the remote
being programmed. Three short chirps will be heard when the remote is
    successfully learned.

If that doesn't work and you know your battery is good on both trolling motor and in remote, call customer service
    at Minn Kota 1-800-227-6433.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

so i figured out today that the remote won't control the prop if the foot control is hooked up. now, i am almost POSITIVE that this has not been the case in the past, but that's the way it is working currently. anyways............thanks for all the replies.

You must have a PowerDrive.........thats the way they work. On a Terrova you can run the foot control and the remote at the same time....my foot pedal stays hooked up all the time. If you have a Terrova and its doing this then something is wrong with it.
