    I fish up there with him. I'm bigger than he is and all stove up. It's narrow and kinda tight to the out side. Never had any trouble fishing though. Just have to take your time if moving to back of boat.

    I forgot to check the drill bit size but I want to say it was 2 1/4 hole saw?? Just measure the bottom of the pedestal base to make sure.

    def not to far forward....just mount the pedestals where I have the seats that im using now....thats not a problem at all

    I see you took my advice.I think it will work great.IMO put two more bases close enough to rest your arms on your legs and rest your finger tip on the holders.I've found putting the holders more to outside of boat is better.Always better to have more room in between the seats.And on mounting do what slabin said we've mounted many of seat bases without any hiccups.
