I have same problem, so bad my dogs can't walk outside for stickers. Mine was green a month or so back, decided it would be a good time to spay it with roundup. Pfft, it didn't even turn it brown. 2 weeks later when I got home from work. I tried another type only double strength, killed about 50%. So I double dosed with roundup again before heading to work. Wife says it still didn't kill it all. If there is a solution I'd like to know also.

This time of year it may take 3-4 weeks to kill, but try 2-4D should do a better job on stickers. Atrizine should keep them from coming back. As I told Rees, use Atrizine and Prodiamine in FEB and Oct will keep them from coming up. I had stickers as well as plenty of other bad weeds and grass until I started using this method.

Yep...up here I use round up on my zoyzia and Bermuda when it's dormant. Kills all the winter weeds, etc., also a product called 2-4D, works well too on weeds, but won't hurt grasses. Might be the same as MSMA (not sure).

Thanks for the good info. When I went to Co-op I thought I was getting some good advise. The man I spoke with said, here is what you need it will take care of your problem and walked off. It wasn't any of the products mentioned but did cost over $30 for 16 oz. You live and you lean I reckon.
