    Default Boat rigging

If you were rigging a boat with this exact deck with spider loks would you mount them where the pink dots are in pic #1 or where the red dots are in pic #2? Or would you choose somewhere else besides those two places shown? The blue line is where the TM is mounted

I have got mine mounted about were the yellow dots are and have another set of bases mounted on the sides closer to the rear of the deck for pulling cranks.

If you haven't mounted your seat bases.I would put them as far forward as possible.Maybe even try and mount rod holders on that upper deck.I want my rods as far away from the boat as possible,I see people all the time with 4-6' of rod in the boat. Also consider running your tm down the center.Good luck

I'm like Big C. Mount your bases first then work with holders from there.

After sitting in the boat tonhhht and setting the loks out on top of that flat part far front of the boat I'm leaning more towards that and mounting trolling Motor dead center so that when it's Stowed it comes straight back towards middle of the deck, moving the rod holders out on that front part is freeing up a lot of leg room on the deck
