No. didn't take any poles. Just went for the first three hours or so of break in. Only ran her wide open for about 5 minutes. Couldn't get her dialed in with the prop I used. I couldn't see very well at 70. Only turning 5k RPM's at 70 tho. I knew a prop change was in order. I used a prop I already had just for a reference point. I'll dail her in later. Never caught a fishing at 70 anyways. Lol
