One of my favorite things at the paper office is that I'm the one who does "Looking Back" each week. Not being "from" Coffeeville, been here over 30 years now, it helps me connect some dots on who's who and such in our community. This was in the 75 year ago part for this week's issue.
Somebody turn it for me, this is the only site that turns my pocs

That's pretty neat!
What year was the lake completed? Was there additional height added to spillway later? It appears at some point the lake levels were raised. Location of standing dead timber, submerged highways and boat landing makes me think maybe levels raised from initial construction.
If you go back and look at the records 193 has always been winter pool and 215 summer pool. I don't know if the timing as far as when they hold and let out has changed or not.
