A least it did it at the ramp, sucks tho

Not how you want the day to go but like Rees said, at least you didn't have to get towed in. Things break, go bad and just plain wear out. We're running a 20 year old boat so I may be the next guy stuck, hopefully at the ramp.

Sorry for the problems but if you have them that is the best place to have them

I checked my cranking battery and it was a 2012 as well as one of my trolling batteries and the other that is still in good shape was 2010 that came when I bought the boat.
I think I am just going to replace them all and be done. In the back I only have room for a 12-12.5 inch battery. It has group 27 in it. What is the best bang for the buck that will fit? I could move them to a compartment right behind the front pedestal and have more room but that is a lot of weight far up front.

Not knowing what size boat you have I would say in most cases the extra weight helps up front when spider rigging. I would just take them out and sit up front and take to lake and see how it sits and handles. If it's ok then I would go with group 31's or 29's. If that won't work I would go back to 27's.
