Thread: Blast from the past!

I know I'm an old geezer now but at 1 time I played baseball for Bill Speros American Legion Post#1. 1971/1972.Last night we had a reunion of past teams dating back to 1964 at the Summit Club on top of the Clark Tower building in Mempho.There were several ex-major league players in attendance that I either played with or were on earlier Speros teams.Tucker Ashford, Ross Grimsley, Bobby Goodman,Donnie Castle, Mike Paxton to name a few. The 1968 team won the National Championship and we were runners up in 72 I was on that team.It was a awesome event that I will remember the rest of my life. We wanted to pay tribute to Tony Gagliano, our coach, and to remember him and all the things he taught us not only about baseball but to prepare us for life ahead!Here are a few pics.
