Just messin' with ya, Steve! Went to Butla this past Wed, wind was tuff.....should've stayed home! Caught one 13" slab...that's it. Heck, I wasn't anywhere near your spot, 'cause I don't know where it is. I know you know that lake like Rees knows Nader. I'll be ready to go when you are. Enjoy your vacation!

IM with you army,,,, I went yesterday at Butla and got nothing after 4 hrs of cranking.... IM starting to think these cranks are a bunch of horsepuckie,,, I generally spider rig and do fairly well, but everyone has been bragging about how well cranks work and I jumped on that boat last year with zero success,,,,I 'm fixing to go back to spiderriggin unless someone can explain what I'm doing wrong,,,, Using 300 arkies, assorted colors,,,,running them in 12 ft of water about 25 ft back off my boat,,, sometimes 30 to 35 ft...I'm using 8 lb viscious line,,,

I ain't givin' up cranking for 'em yet! Snubbys has had some good luck with 'em. It was a bad windy day when I went. Butla will humble you big time, but when it's right, it's right!
