    You said you have a separate battery. You think it would pull too much running it off the cranking battery using an inverter?

    Bill, so far I have been using mine on low, or medium around the house...mostly on the a/c cord...Wife uses it all the time...had to order another !!

    Clue me in....Dosent a Inverter convert 12 volts DC to 110 AC ? and a Converter converts from 110 AC to 12 volt DC ?

    I have a converter which I plug in to the cigarette lighter. I then plug a 110 aquarium bubbler to that. That's my backup. I run a 12 volt bubbler wired direct to my battery most of the time. Your statement is backwards, but I misstated "inverter" in my post above.
