Why you need a livewell? Ice them down. If it's for tourney fishin....spend the paper for a big wrapped boat with fancy o2 system. You can't win a tourney without wrap and 10% off sponsors anyway.:biggrin

Dead on Feelay....I guess because I fished so many Bass tournaments, and saw several incidents of weighing precaught fish. I want mine live, and kicking as much as possible...I am glad we don't HAVE to weigh live ones, like this last w/e, but I want to do what I Can to keep them alive..actually I will release some legal fish..It is not against the law to turn some loose...sometimes I may be too lazy to clean them. As far as boats...you can pay $50 grand for a boat, and still be clueless, and fishless..Time on the water catches fish..not toys...and yes, if meat fishing I do ice them down...
Yea, walmart clearance prices aren't as good now as they use to be. I did get my share plus some. Bilge pumps, $1, Rebel sinkers 0.05 per pack, Malibou jigs, 10 pk 0.10 per pack. 6 and 8 ft cast nets $1. Inflatable life jackets $5. 5 pk paint roller covers 0.25. 15 ft ladder tree stand $15. Eagle Claw 202 gold hooks 100 pk 0.25. 12 and 20 gauge shells 0.25 to $1 per box, some were 3" 5 pk turkey loads.
I did pick up 3 pistol range bags the other day $19. Retails for $63, MLP $85.
The tank's pick up tube will need to be at the depth or deeper of where you're catching fish.
the most important thing to do is to keep your water cool. I put frozen jugs of water in my live well throughout the day and don't loose any fish. the hotter it gets the less oxygen you have in that water.
BD, what size bottles..probably don't want to get it too cold either
