I don't have a particular story, but I do remember this first time I met Mike. Of course, it was at camp during the big Saturday feed and my initial thought was "Good grief, this guy never stops talking!" After the crowd thinned out and we all got to visit around the campfire, I really got a kick out of him and how forthright he was. Everytime after that when we came down for camp, Paul and I always enjoyed visiting with Mike and Barbie, when she was able to come. Most of our visiting has been around the campfire in the evenings, which has always been my favorite part of every crappie camp.

I do have to say, he told the story of Paul pulling Mason out of the fire better than anybody!
