Thread: Is this what they call 5-10?

Always add 10 to whatever the forecast says. That gives you the accurate wind velocity on the lake!

If the they you referring to is the weathermen then yes that's a 5-10 plus a possible "gust" up to 15-25. See there using that a lot now to cover there misinformation

I usually add the two together ...seems to be a better guess than the ones with an degree give me on the TV.

Rust is manageable. Politicians---not so much.

I think they miss crossing the dash. 5-10 is a misprint. For example: 5-10 should read 5+10, which is 15 mph wind. 10-15 is also a misprint. Should read 10+15, which equals 25 mph winds. Some day, they will realize that and adjust, lol.
