Guys I live about 15 minutes from Grizzly (in Kennett, MO) and will be over there some. If you run out of luck for places to stay in Caruthersville at the Casino, Kennett is about 15-20 minutes away straight down 412 (easy drive). We do have a couple hotels here (Super 8 and Days Inn). Few more places to eat as well. 2 or 3 Mexican and Chinese restaurants as well as your fast food options like Mickey D's, Burger King, Wendy's etc. Shoot me a message if you need any other info.
Hey Bluesraider, you know of any decent campgrounds within a 50 mile radius of Caruthersville
There is a KOA in Marion, AR but that is about 80 miles away. If you just need a spot to park with water and electrical hookup our fairgrounds in Kennett has spots. They are right behind the American Legion building on the east end of town. You rent them from the Chamber office that is right there also. Its only $10 per day. There isn't sewer hookup but there is a dump station on site. I just got off the phone with our director and she is going to try and put something up on the site about it. She is going to email me the link and I will post it here when she does. Hope this helps.

Here is the link to the camp site info. The information is at the bottom of the page. If it were me I would stay at the sites on the fairgrounds. Its very clean there, usually no one else there this time of year, and easy in and out access.
Kennett, MO Chamber of Commerce
Thanks, I'll be watching
Thanks Bluesraider. I called the casino in Caruthersville and they said they plan to have their campground open by this weekend. At least I now have some options.
