    I've actually floated dry dog food in an onion or fruit bag and caught catfish within an hour casting my bait about 6" under a float. My daughter and I used to kill em that way. You could see the catfish hitting the bag as the dog food got soft and dispersed in the water.

    Large cans of alpo or whatever is cheaper...punch holes. Drop in the drink ,drink a buur,proceed to fishin

    We use to use the chicken feed that would get spilled at the feed plant or from a friends chicken houses. Once it gets wet it is no good to them so they are happy to let you clean up their mess. Put it in a burlap sac with a couple if bricks
