You'll never regret the 80.
Thanks again for all the responses. Just didn't want to overdo it for no reason but looks like the 80 is my choice.
I have a 55 on a fairly heavy 1654. I can spider rig all day, but it's not all that great for pulling cranks. From the beginning, I planned on pulling cranks from the back of the boat with the big motor anyway.
Even then, I think I'd get a kicker bracket and add a used 4 hp.
Like BRM said....'it's OUR choice"...you jus get to pay fer it.
