I know the old saying money doesn't make happiness. But my estimation is you certainly need it to "DO" things that are fun. I'm 51 and my constant struggle is worrying about if I'll have enough saved and deal with health cost. Interesting enough, there was just an article on MSN about how dissolutional americans are on Retirement "age" and how "we" project age of retirement has changed throughout history. Was amazed at how many think they'll be working until 70 plus. Heck, I'm trying to figure out a way to jump ship at 55! I guess a lot of it depends on how happy you are at what you do and how secure that position might be. But the bored thing does cross my mind for sure.
