You can just unplug the trolling motor to disconnect the circuit on any 24/36/48 series. Some people with hard wired motors just put a break on the ground. If you don't break the series, you will start a 90% charge decline that can crap out good batteries in just a couple of years. Learned that the hard way long ago before a friend that designs batteries steered me right. I never knew before
