    I've done it with no problems. I use 16's and I have a set of 14's for my wife. If I go by myself I'll mix them. I don't worry too much about alternating them.

    I would use them mixed if that is what I have . Pay no attention to Bill . Man has so much money he pays folks to tote his boat to the ramp on muddy days to keep from getting his new tires dirty ! lol

    I use 14s in position 1 and 4 and 12s in 2 and 3 on each side. It gives me more even spacing where my line hits the water. I use B&M Capps & Coleman's. I do a better job fishing 8 poles than I do running 10. It's hard, especially when the bite is light, to watch 5 poles.
