I've got 2 batteries in my front compartment! 1 for the trolling motor and 1 for my sonars.I have them strapped down and haven't had any problem from them other than some corrosion on anything made of metal. I had a small tool box in there and noticed some corrosion on a old pair of pliers and a few old screw drivers. They actually help with added weight up front on a windy day when I'm by myself. The shorter wiring run to the trolling motor seems to give me longer battery life between charges.I've got 2 batteries in the back for starting and to run my bilges, live well and lights. Also with the 12 gal. fuel cell and me on the right side they seem to balance the boat better.Just my![]()
