With a foot of snow on the ground here, I'm worried about the deer and turkey's in my woods. I'm going to throw some corn out for them this afternoon and wanted to put a bale or two of alfalfa out also. The local feed stores are out of alfalfa. The only hay they have right now is orchard grass. Do you all think the deer would eat that or would it be a waste of money?
I keep a feeder going in the field beside the woods but I want to supplement it since there's more bad weather moving in
