I have a old All Star GT2 crankin rod that I want to try to repair and need some advise on the best way to go about it.If I remove the second eye and add an end tip the spacing will be off a little. If I cut the rod back to the second eye and remove the second eye and add a tip it would put the spacing rite-on, but I wonder how much action would be lost by removing that extra 2" piece of rod. I have already lost 3"s due to the break.I don't want to turn it into a worm rod!It was originally a 6'6" mdl.Great for crankin!Any feedback would be appreciated.
