In 2014 it was the exception to find a day or even part of a day that the wind wasn't blowing 10 mph or less. When it was less than 10 it would be coming out of the East, South East, or the West. I spent more time hiding from the wind than I did trolling where I wanted to fish. I bout wore out a drift sock and 2 chains.
