Thread: A BIG Thank You

To two of my good friends. Now that the dust has settled from this weekends tourney, I would like to shift my attention to my friends.

Scott V is a super guy and even tho he doesn't care about the recognition, he helped me tremendously at Okatibbee. He set up his camper and let me stay with him the two nights I was down there with " no questions ask", and wouldn't take one red cent for it, even tho I offered. He also was kind enough to cook breakfast both mornings and supper each night. He made sure I was comfortable, and made me feel like I was at home. He shared his expertise of the lake and showed me the color combos to start with and lots of areas to search for fish. He even loaned me his entire jig box to use as I saw fit. Scott V is TRUELY what C.C is all about. He is kind, courteous, helpful, and more than willing to share with everyone. An amazing individual for sure. Thank You so much for all you did for me Scott!!! You won the tourney, I just fished it.!!!!

I also want to thank Rees Guide. I called him to fill in for my regular partner Meatgetter, and he was more than willing to help me by fishing with me. While pre fishing some of the areas that Scott had showed us, John ask if I would check out a spot he had caught fish at during the summer while cranking. I agreed, and that's where we located our winning stringer. Thank You so much John. Great Call on that move!!!!!!! You also won the tourney and allowed me to share that with you and Scott. It was definitely a TEAM effort. RG is another great example of what this site is all about.

Even tho I was in the boat for the tourney, these two guys really won it. I just wanted to thank them both for allowing me to be a part of it. They both deserve all the credit.
