My wife has not set foot in a Wal Mart in over 5 years. Her grandmother passed away and my wife was in charge of getting pictures together for the slide show to be shown at the visitation. She got several pictures together that represented her grandmother's life as well as the family over the years, e-mailed them to the store, paid for a photo CD, and thought all was well. The next morning she went to our local store and the clerk wouldn't give her the CD. She asked to see a manager then the store manager. Seems there was one photo of her grandparents wedding day that was done in a studio but had no photo company markings on it. All of the employees said my wife would have to produce a waiver from the photographer for the photo THAT WAS 70 years OLD!! When she asked for the rest of the photos on the CD they refused. She is as mild mannered as they come but she went thermo-nuclear on the whole bunch! She told me later.....
She left the store in tears and swore they would never see her darken their door again and she has been true to her word, even out of town or out of state.

As to the OP, I'm sure you felt wronged but IMO, you were pretty naive to think they wouldn't give out item claim numbers several hours prior to the advertised time. That way they can trap the "shoppers" in the store for hours while they impulse buy all kinds of Chinese junk.
