Thread: Spring Camp

A friend just called and said there was an article written in the MS-LA Sportsman Magazine that listed Grenada as #1, and Sardis as #5 crappie lakes in the nation....We need to set a date and lake for spring camp... I am going somewhere, not going to wait and hope to get a spot...Last time I am going to mention this..Everything else can be done later..

Hijacked???????????? I basically asked the same question I had asked earlier...WHEN AND WHAT DAT IS SPRING CAMP GOING TO BE...It was awful last year trying to launch and camp...Will be worse this year with added publicity. I counted 138 trailers on two ramps on a Wendsday last year...Mostly out of state... Most of those people will be looking for a place to stay and camp. I have answered my own question...Some of the ones that want to get a site are going to pick our own time and place and get it done before the rush...I really enjoyed Crappie camp...But have camped for over 50 years without one..Most of the time caught a few fish. Maybe our camps are getting to big or something...Anyway.. I have answered my post..Good luck to all.

When did Sardis fall to #5. I thought it was #3??

Willing to bet there wont be as much hipe this next spring for Grenada as it has been, lot of folks had a tuff time this past spring.
Depending on which article you are reading as to where Sardis falls Smooth, it will have more pressure than Nader anyways just because of location.

Sorry. Never been to spring camp in MS , went to the fall camp at Enid had a ball. The fishing was tuff but I didn't go for the fishing . If I struck a nerve with you Sorry not my intention, I enjoy getting away a meeting people with the same interest.
