Competition calling sounds nothing like any waterfowl species I have ever hunted.

Meat calling contests sound pretty good to me. That crap at Stuttgart makes my head hurt just listening to it.

Competition calling has to show the judges that you can make all the different calls that a goose makes, but you do it in a general series of calling. Calling ducks and geese add the response of the birds as to what calls you make. Much different than a judged event. The only response a judge gives to your calling series is your score!!!!!

They make sounds competition calling that I have never heard a duck or goose make

Been watching the call wars on FB. Them boys can blow the heck out of the olt cut down style calls. Don't know how they do it without needing an oxygen tank. Geez
