    What is the best brand of bacon to put on the smoker??

    Thanks for the link G, but I'd rather not have to "cure" it first. I'd like to have something ready to throw on the smoker with the ribs I've just put on.

    We use something with a lot of fat to it, brand really don't matter. Put a rack in above what you are smoking and spread it out above it, when that bacon looks like it has about run out of juice take it off to eat and put some more on.

    Yep Wrights is the best we have found, don't have a smoker just fry.

    Kroger brand is 2nd to Wrights.

    Most of that store bought bacon is already cold smoked so I just fry it......lot quicker that way....I think if you smoked it again it would be too smokey
