fished for them most of my life but am hooked on wading inshore for flounder going to Christmas bay in October for the flounder run caught one in 89 that almost beat the Texas state record GOOD LUCK on your trip!!!

I am by no means the local expert but live shrimp seems to be most used...small croakers may land you some trophy specks, and eliminate the hardheads I believe cocahoe is also quite popular.

My brother in law lived in New Orleans for 20 years. He's going with me, he said it was 2 hrs below NO.i think he mentioned empire. Is that a city or community?
