    Seen a few and chased a few in AR in my younger days--never got one though

    one year when the coe was d=watering we had one at the drop downstream eating dead fish . Was the only one i have seen in the wild .we were on one side of the outlet him on the other .this was at enid arround 2005

    Use to fish the Mississippi River regularly and seen bears swimming the river all the time headed toward Mississippi so I know there here
