I've got the 55 hp 4wd, John Deere with a cab and front end loader. I disked up some ground last weekend that had never been broken before. It did it with ease. I do know that if you are considering trading or upgrading you need to do it now. The emission systems will be changing on all diesel tractors very soon. You will not like the cost and maintenance involved with the new Guberment required emission systems. Plus a couple other annoying things "like not being able to let it idle for long periods". I bought mine in May and my JD dealer told me that regular emission tractors were only gonna be available for 9 more months. I went to a Kubota dealer and every tractor on the lot had the new emission system except for one.
