A few weeks ago I bought a device at Lowes called the Charbroil Infuser. It's just a porcelain coated metal box with vents in the lid and a food basket. Place seasoned veggies in the bottom of box, add 1/4" of chicken stock or water. Season the chicken to taste and place in the basket over the veggies. Cover with the vented lid and place in a preheated oven at 425* for about an hour. Depending on the size of the bird. Uncover and brush with butter or spray with Pam and broil for about 5 minutes. I've cooked 3 chickens with this thing so far and varied my cooking times according to size. They all turned out to be the juiciest most flavorful chicken ever. The veggies are awesome, usually shrooms, squash, onions, radishes, and carrots. The leftovers and stock will make the best chicken noodle soup you've ever had. I grilled a steak the other nite and used the Infuser to steam my veggies which turned out great, I plan on seeing what I can do with a pork loin next. As for as cleanup just place it in the dishwasher.![]()
