Yes I pulled cranks and they ran great. The nice thing is they work great or pulling jigs at much slower speeds unlike some of the other boards that want to sink at slower speeds. I pulled with them 1.5 up to 2.1 mph just to see how they performed. I have also pulled with them using jigs as slow as .4 - .5
