Here ya go Wilbur. Yes they take a batt but they last well from what I am told, reels are smooth as glass and have 6 to 1 ratio, can cast a crank to 125 with ease and not bulky. Not for everyone I know but they are nice. You can shop it and find them cheaper than this one.

Yeah I looked on Cabelas website and I seen 164. You realize that's 5 Okumas.

Yep, no difference in buying a big ole Ranger or going to Bass Pro and getting a Tracker, to each their own man. I personally don't want any more Okumas, pain in the arse, much prefer the Diawa 17s. Right now I aint sure I will even go back to a linecounter, so far I far no complaint with the Depth Hunter line, its dead on and easy to use.

I am too Wilbur, I sure aint riding in no new Ranger, may be why I haven't gotten of my wallet and got em yet. 95% of the time I cast the crank out, can get it back in the strike zone quicker and the way I set up iut easy to cast out, flip the bail and put it in the holder. I couldn't do that with the Okumas because if I loosened it up enuff to cast 100 feet the line was bad about getting behind the spool.
