It's YOUR fault we're spending that extra money. Is it tax deductible? (Fingers Crossed)[/QUOTE]
If its a hobby, no. If you intend to make money, yes. In your case, no))
I've always been the guy who wanted to do something different than everybody else (within legal limits). I am just now starting to see a few folks on KY Lake run cranks set-up or planer boards. 2 neck fusion surgeries pretty well dictated that trolling is my go-to way to fish for the rest of my days. I have accumulated my gear over a number of years but am lucky that some of it is tax deductible. I get limits occasionally but I don't have to catch a limit or even close to still have a good day on the lake. I get a kick out of the looks on folks faces when they ask me what technique I was using to catch a mess of fish and they never heard of it.

i catch what my family will eat, same as killing deer, when i have enoughin the freezer to know we wont run out, i slow down. I seldom buy meat from the store, except some chicken, and i never buy fish. If the econemy keeps going like it is right now, i suspect alot of people will be doing the same in the near future.

I think a sunrise or sunset and 10 or 15 fish is a good day any day![]()
