Thread: I've been thinking

I usually fish just to enjoy what God has given us.Just being outdoors and at peace with the world.I fish Butla mainly and scratching a limit there is a real challenge!Over the last few months the limit has been how many hours I can work either at home or at work!Going to get my boat wet again pretty soon!

I don't get to fish all year long the way I used to when I was working for the man, so when I get to go I fish hard, I can stay on the water all day long and never give it a second thought, now if I fished 3 or 4 days a week I might not go at it that hard, but when ya only get to go once a week and sometimes not that much ya kinda enjoy being out there, if I get a limit its just gravy on the biscuits lol

I have a self imposed limit & that is how many I feel like cleaning that day lol I like to cook the fillets the same day I catch them and not freeze them or no later than next day but hey that's me

I ice mine down good and fillet them the next day......they fillet a lot easier after they have been iced overnight.

I've never caught a limit until 3 weeks ago. I could fish all day and only catch a few and be happy just to be on the water.

A limit is just a good stopping place on a very good day.
Not going to the lake many times and get my butt handed to me without making some adjustments of some sort, sometimes it means spend a little money. I know some of yall say it aint about catching fish but I seem to have more fun when I am catching fish. A pretty sunrise and then by 10 or so if it aint happening I am headed to the house ifn I am fishing close to home. Ready for it to warm up some, gonna be a good summer!!!!

What's this limit thing? Is that when you can't close the lid on the cooler?
