if i had room for trays i'd put them under them, but all i had room for was a rubber mat, as for bouncing, i bout had to beat the last one in with a hammer, the craninking batter is under the carpeted piece at the bottom of the pic, they are wedged in, i do have a bungee to run across the top of them, thanks for the advice tho.

Not sure if it will work for your boat, but I used a tray for two batteries and cut out the sides to allow the larger batteries to fit. The strap still ran where it needed to but the lip of the tray was cut out to allow the larger batteries to sit in the tray. Just a thought and I am sure you have done all you can do in the space you have to work with. One other option that may work is to convert the middle front storage area to a battery compartment. You would have shorter wire leads that would help with the electrical side and more room for larger batteries. More forward weight wont hurt either when spider rigging. Just a thought and I have been told before what to do with my thoughts!

Shine, great minds do think alike, after running out of room in the back of the boat, i put another cart battery in the front center storage compartment to used for my dedicated 12v system, i have already converted my other front storage box into a forward livewell.
