This weekend is also the St. Judes Bass Classic. COE already has barricades ready for use. Ought to make it interesting.

I would like to see this done on all lakes and rivers that people fish on regularly: Other than for access in and out to open water NO PWC MAY BE OPERATED WITHIN 200 FT OF THE SHORELINE. Mandatory $50.00 fine if you are crusing along within that no PWC zone.

so its better for them to be at 1/4 throttle pushing a bigger wake????

they weren't too bad this morning, loaded up around 1pm, really non-existent. the only issue I had was 2 fisherman moving from the dam up into bean creek, one being a 20 foot bass rig, running about 1/4 throttle instead of going on. The bass rig pushed a wake that dang near came over the bow of my Cat with me sitting down in the center, unreal that folks want to push a wall of water like that, I'm either at "no wake" or on plane, no in between except for when I am getting on plane.

Never said a word about them going 1/4 throttle. What I am saying and they can go as fast as they want is that they have to go straight in and straight out. NO CRUSING THE SHORELINE. I to like yaks and want to get one. So I agree with no wake. When I had my big boat on the water and the big engine I would slow to where I saw no ripples when passing yaks and jon boats. I didn't like being rocked in my big boat and I wasn't about to rock someone in a smaller boat. No disrespect Reees but keeping PWC's out away from the shoreline is safer for all that are going slow and fishing the bank. I do hope to met you one day. I also want to say I respect what you say on here.

I got ya, no way to control it tho. Would be nice but the fact is a lot of folks just don't care how their actions impact you, sad but true.
