I had a grand paw but he was commercial fishing Sardis for catfish back then but Granny knew that spillway like the back of her hand.She was the 1 that really taught me to fish.I would take one of her long cane poles and a bucket of minners I got from Wallaces across the road from their fish camp and ride my bike to the spillway to her secret spot for crappie!She knew where they were!Great memories!
