I love the ag business. In fact if I hit the lottery tomorrow I would stay in farming til it was all gone.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

Congrats MO. My son just graduated Saturday with a degree in Agri-Business with an emphasis on plant and soil biology.

I'm in the ag industry and the only days I get the opportunity to fish is days that aren't suitable for fishing, BUT I can duck hunt just about as much as I want!!

That's a BIG plus for me as well... I won't be in the field, but it's going to be an experience for sure

I was in the ag business one time... Mother Nature always wins. I then went to nursing school and finished as an RN. Best move I ever made. One thing about it the delta offers plenty to do in the health field. lol

I almost went into the chicken business. Alot of my family in AL are in it. Just couldn't come up with the 500k to get into it and the 100K a year heating bill didn't sit well with me Used to deal with the AG planes and all in my line of work-still would rather be in the field one way or another. Worst thing I ever did to myself was start working behind a desk--I think

Sounds like you care so thats half the battle in any job. If it's easy it aint worth much. Just keep showing up, learning and growing and life will be good...
