Anyone know a place to find a fair value of an outboard? As well as the boat it's on? Or if anyone could give me some suggestions?
Late 80's model 16 ft fisher, flat bottom that's wide and deep...
Late 80's model two stroke 25 hp mercury....(tiller)
Thanks in advance

Joe, I have found on some older ones it's hard to get nada on older stuff. Might check Craigs list on similar setup's to get a idea of what they are going for.

Ya that's the problem I'm having since it's 80's model. Thanks for the replies y'all I appreciate it
Do a Google search for "198? 25 HP Mercury for sale". Also do the same thing for the boat.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

This will give you low, average, and high retail numbers. Not trade in values. Trade In values are usually 10-20% less than low retail depending on condition.
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
is the motor a pull rope? it really depends on condition. If it comes with trailer and is a sound boat/trailer/motor, I wouldn't take less than $2,500, but average book value is around $1,750. You can always ask high and negotiate. The used boat marked(especially aluminum with smaller hp motors) is all about finding the right buyer. Found the hull on NADA says its 16' and 67" beam, so maybe that is a semi accurate value
