Thread: Anybody fish Enid this weekend?

I've been bank fishing a spot near Wallace Creek campground for about a month. I have managed to catch a few there every time. Last time I went was a week ago. The only thing biting were catfish, and I saw a gar fish w/baby swimming up the creek. Also, the last time I caught fish there (most have been females), the eggs were pale. I guess now I know why.

Trolling has been slow for me all year. The single pole folks were doing pretty good until Friday. I trolled from daylight until about 3:00 for four days. Caught 16-9-6-16. Never found any concentration. Just picked up 1 here and there. Never caught 2 close together. Had two different people stop by while I was cleaning fish the last day and said they had been doing pretty good single pole fishing but they're fish were gone. One of them had caught 2, the other one hadn't caught a fish. I hope i'm wrong but the spawn may be about done at Enid. My wife caught one 15 1/4" that only weighed 1.6 lbs. Only caught one that was still bulging. Some of the eggs in the other ones are starting to get a gray color to them (white crappie).

We have had an inch when I left the house but its coming a flood in Grenada County and sirens going off, huddled up in Wally World!!

Get out of there, Rees. The weather's getting bad there, and those big box stores are no place to be if there's a tornado.

yup, they got those red tornado warning blocks on the NWS site down around grenada and winona. looks like they are headed towards tupelo...

I am in my storm shelter.....cell containing tornado (not on the ground) supposed to be here in about 15 min
