Man I scratched my backyard up and threw some seed on it and went and turned the sprinklers to it and went to turn my hydrant on and it broke the nipple where it t's up to the hydrant. Dang rebar wasn't deep enough and it snapped right off. I hate plumbing and nobody was open to get a new hydrant so I capped it and gonna have to do some more plumbing next weekend!

They can usually fix it in a few minutes and then I think they take a nap for about a hour!Laying on your back in a 2 ft. crawl space just ain't fun. Glad you got it fixed.

It can be worse... A buddy's lab puppy played tug-o-war with the hose until he ripped the spigot out of the wall of the house, behind the bricks.

Go inside the house and either remove a sheet of paneling or cut a hole in the dry wall.....repair plumbing then fix wall back.

What G said, I have repaired a couple like this for people, usually it tears or breaks because it was not strapped to the stud in the wall properly, when I repair one I usually put two staps on good and tight instead of just one and it usually holds then.

Dang, I've been doing plumbing work since I was 16 and yall are throwing words out that I didn't work with.
hydrant, feelay plays with them. https://www.google.com/search?q=hydr...w=1366&bih=640

spigot, ah you mean hose bibb and nipple. https://www.google.com/search?q=hose...w=1366&bih=640

One of my houses, the whole block was built by the same contractor, must have used the same plumber. Must have left his tape measure home those days. None of the houses have a front hose bibb and every house the rear hose bibb is out from the brick 3 or more inches.
