Lemon is what is commonly used. Will not harm the hull or motor. Careful around electronics and plastic. Not sure what's in it but I wouldn't trust it without knowing for sure. Pledge does a great job for quick shine, but the problem is there is no UV inhibitor in it. Also, it does not protect the fiberglass by plugging the microscopic pores in the clear coat which will allow air to reach the glass which is the source of fade and the symptom of oxidation. Only a wax can do that. I used bassboatsaver for quick detail. Course, mine was faded in spots when I got it, but its fantastic for a quick shine and safe for all electronics and plastics, seats too.
He doesn't spray it on he said just dampen the soft cloth with it and wipe just the glass. Course his boat never ever sits out unless he is fishing, he does quite a lot of fishing tho.
