LoL. Ain't nobody offended, just beating myself up for not running the fuel out, I fished up until November and didn't winterize my motor thinking I'd fish thru out the winter, got to chasing bucks and didn't touch it until March. Now I'm paying the price, I did add sea foam before taking it out but that didn't help the fuel sitting in the carbs. Motor idles fine but only runs half speed. Talked to a mechanic today who told me to disconnect the fuel line, run the motor out of fuel. Then attach a bottle of stabil to the fuel line and pump the carbs full of stabil. Let it sit a day or two and run it. If that doesn't work bring it to him.

I use Doug Hughes in east tupelo. Long time boat mechanic with shop at home. Use to work at hills western auto marine for years. Fast work at good price. Took my boat out yesterday after he fixed it after sitting for 3 years and it runs like new. Redone carbs, set timing, new plugs and water pump. Wouldn't even get up to 3500 rpm before and now goes to 5200 like it should. Idles like new.

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

When you have 5-6 boats it's hard yo keep em all running.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

smart mechanic, I have a enclosed tank and have had troubles..... mainly watery fuel; ie. ethanol without any additives. bigger motors especially seem like!
