Way to go!! Old Windstone is first class. I bet you're hooked now. Have you got the urge to spend $20,000 on a boat yet?

Thanks, I'm good. I think I'm going to love wading--especially after listening to you guys bitch about boat etiquette. Besides, all those folks who don't know how to behave on a boat ramp used to be my customers. I try to keep my distance. (BTW, they don't behave any better at restaurants.)

Yes, windstone is first class for sure.

So there's speckled crappie? Is it white or black?

There are two kinds of crappie, well actually three. You have the white crappie and the black. A few years ago but developed a hybrid between the two called a magnolia crappie. Speck, is just another name for a black crappie

Is there a preference as far as eating them? I've read about the Magnolias. What do they look like?
