    Default The Rez

There is no other lake in MS that gets the pressure the Rez gets, but it continues to produce. There must have been over 200 boats crappie fishing on the main lake yesterday. I didn't go up river but I hear it was packed also. I got on the water at 10 and fished until 3. I kept 21 and threw back just as many. It appears there was a good spawn the last two years which should translate into good fishing down the line.Name: Rez3-30-14.jpg

It amazes me how much pressure all of the MS reservoirs get and STILL continue to produce. Not just produce fish, but HUGE fish, looks like you had some chunks in there

That high fishing pressure is what keeps the Rez from overpopulating and becoming a dink hole. They have a great spawn almost every year because of the consistent water levels.

I couldn't fight the crowds on any of the lakes. I had 6 boats to contend with yesterday and felt crowded out.

Nice mess of fish Hugh. I can tell you that upriver was slam packed with folks getting out of the wind we had early. We caught a few really nice fish and ALOT of 7-9 inchers that went back in the lake
