They didn't give you any medication to take? Maybe need to go to a rheumatologist. Its no fun for sure. I had my right one operated on at Campbell 3 years ago and constant pain. Said I need a shoulder replacement. My other one bothers me now along with my neck. The shot will help short term. I hope you find some relieve longer term as well. I'm 51 and been fighting it for as long as I can remember. Arthritis is a horrible disease but a lot of drugs on the market that can help.

•Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States.
•Arthritis is actually a more frequent cause of activity limitations than heart disease, cancer or diabetes.
•Within 20 years the number of people with arthritis will soar. By 2030, an estimated 67 million Americans will have arthritis, unless the trend is reversed.

I love my meloxicam. Works like celebrex but cheaper. Leaves more money for jig poles and crankbaits.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

I use what most have tried before but in liquid form,,,, It's called glucosamine with condroidin made by Wellesse.... I get it in a quart size bottle at Sams for around $18 and mix a cap full with water once or twice a day... Within a few days every pain in my body goes away. I was an auto mechanic for some thirty years with a lot of back troubles,,,, this has saved me from any major back operations and keeps my knees and joints pain free! I actually was told about it by a fe doctors years ago and they told me it was much more effective if n used the liquid formula instead of trying pills and it worked,,,

Me either. I basically gave up on arthritis meds and take ibuprofen. Nothing seems to work. I even tried that enbrel. I take ibuprofen and deal with it the best I can.
