    Bay Springs is full of black crappie. I have seen some out of there a lot bigger than this one. The pic of the fish you posted is 15" long and should weigh around 2.5-2.75 lbs.

    After fishing Sardis for years and being fortunate enough to catch some big fish and the fishing Washington and seeing the difference... Ive learned that length doesn't mean a whole lot in some lakes

    Fish is 14.5 long, 2.5 lbs at the most.

    Kinda my problem. Never been able to judge a speck because they can weigh so much more per inch than whites depending on the area

    I agree, if it came out of Washington it will probably weigh more than you think .
